A very warm 'Welcome Back' to all students and staff, we look forward to an eventful 2020.
Mrs Tamminga was successful in gaining a lot of lovely fruit trees and plants kindly donated by residents from Rockingham and Kwinana. 'The response was amazing and as a result we will be taking back a very full trailer packed to the brim with plants for the community' she said.

After reading the article, Jonas and Janet Kirk kindly donated some money towards the school.
"Dear Fiona,
Would you be so kind as to accept my small donation to your school.
I read about your story whilst visiting your mother in Calista.
I think your school is very special, so if this can help in some small way, I would be glad.
Kind Regards
Jonas and Janet Kirk."
Thank you so kindly Jonas and Janet.
We have several new rescue kangaroos in the school at the moment. Here is Jahlael with Rocky, one of our new babies.
Our reward system is rolling along beautifully this year with our first recipient from the prize box being Matchum Merry. Well done mate!! Congratulations to Trinity Firth who was a close second to complete the reward chart.

The students are enjoying the fruits of their labour from the lush vegetable garden and fruit trees.

Today we opened up an interesting box we received, donated to us by a wonderful organisation called "Simply for Strings".
This is what we found inside!! Violins
Everyone seemed to really like the idea of learning how to play a violin!
We actually made some amazing sounds!
Looks like there could be some naturals in the mix!
Thank you so much!!!
We also received new musical instruments, kindly donated by the Gift of Music. As you can see, our students are extremely excited to receive such an amazing gift.
Gift of Music is an initiative of Rural Aid, a not-for-profit organisation helping disadvantaged children and youth in rural and remote Australia gain access to the life-changing educational and social opportunities that music brings.
Thank you so much!!!
